Japan has taken a page out of Canada's book, and built its own version of a small fake lake for the Asia-Pacific Economic Co-operation summit.
Japan's "lake" is digital, with virtual fish swimming about and a fountain that drips fake water to create fake ripples.
Wonder what it cost?

When it was suggested in the comments at the CBC that Japan was having a little snicker at Stevie's expense, someone jumped in in defence saying that the Japanese have a history of copying architecture (not that Fake Lake really qualifies) and gave the example of Tokyo Tower.
