I've had the pleasure of meeting him in person and having a long conversation with him. I can tell you, he is unbelievably funny in real life.
You can sense that - his 'Rocket Man' is a hoot! I always wondered why he never performed in comedies, though I guess that some would say that Boston Legal is a 'dramady'.
