It's been really sad reading many of the news stories where some French women dismiss sexual harassment by the likes of decrepit entitled creeps like DSK as no big deal.
Heh - no fear - Canada's new "James Bond" blustery Baird will bully some sense into them...not!
It's really quite bizarre, on some level. The country that brought forward one of the most insightful feminist thinkers - de Beauvoir and The Second Sex - is also inordinately proud of a culture that promotes and values the commodification of women.
