More later when Michael Moore's speech -- he was on fire! -- is posted. (I tried to watch the live feed but it kept crapping out.)
There's something very BIG going on here. Very big and very hopeful.

You will note mr. obama was not in attendance with Michael in his "comfortable shoes walking the picket line with you as President of the United States" as he promised during his campaign in 2007.
As Matt Damon said on CNN's Piers Morgan the other night: "I no longer hope for audacity" . . . .
WEB: A lot of people there have said that it's probably better that he not come. Because then the TeaBaggers would go nutz and it would be all about the socialist fascist moooslim non-american presnit.
And I'm not making excuses for the guy. He's been a MASSIVE disappointment. No audacity in sight.
But the Dems do need to support the people of WI and elsewhere facing union busting. I guess it's like Egypt etc., waiting to see which way the wind blows before saying anything.

No audacity and limited veracity, IMO.
Hopefully, that wind will start blowin' soon and develop into a massive tornado of People Power fed up with the Corporate Masters trampling their rights . . . .
People can say what they will about Obama - I am still so relieved that it is not Bush anymore.
Sassy: yes, there's that. But the promise was so much bigger than just not-Bush.
I think the people of Wisconsin and those in other states have figured out that "change they can believe in" has to be wrested from the bottom up.
Obama, for all his good intentions, is a captive to a Congress comprising Republican intransigents and "bought and paid for" senators and representatives of both stripes.
Corporatism has the dominant voice today in American politics and even in their judiciary. Mussolini's concept of modern fascism was based on the marriage of political and corporate power.
Lest we become smug, there are plenty in Canada and not all of them Conservative who would readily follow the same path.
