Palin Goes To Hong Kong.

Really? Mudflats is boggled, aghast and bemused too.

Her discussion on geo-politics is sure to be fascinating considering her vast foreign policy experience and her extensive world travel. This will be her third trip out of the country, and her first to Asia. Twice she has visited American servicemen and women on bases overseas. And she’s had a passport for 2 whole years. And then there’s that Russia thing…

This engagement will be hosted by brokerage and investment group CLSA Asia-Pacific Markets. Now, I’m no financial whiz, but I’ll share with you the first and only piece of advice about your investments that I may ever have. If your money is with these people, who decided to invest their money in paying Sarah Palin to fly to Hong Kong and speak about geo-politics? Get your money back NOW. All of it.

On a positive note, the Atlantic says:
Yep, you heard that right: former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin will travel to Hong Kong for her first commercial speaking engagement ... Given that foreign policy was a soft spot for Palin during the 2008 campaign, this will give her a chance to boost her foreign policy cred (and she'll be able to see Taiwan from her hotel room).
I wonder if she will bring the traveling family circus with her. Oh, and any bets who her speech writer will plagiarize about the
source material for her speech this time?

The photo is from Wonkette, who also has some choice words about this event.

The comments at Wonkette are funny, too. This one made me LOL.

Here it is in its entirety:

'Well, if she does ever give the speech, I know of several Chinese translators who will definately go mad by the end of the day.'

Sarah Palin is kicking your liberal asses and you are all so fucking afraid. Homosexuals, abortionists, progressive dumbasses are being exposed for fucking up the world.

We're getting many Anonymice here lately.

This one, like most of the others, can't read very well. We MOCK the dipshit; we do not fear her.

And there are several more recent posts here about Sawah than this one. All MOCKING her. Have a look at the videos here.

That particular Anonymouse above used a computer belonging to the Indiana Department of Education.

Shocking, isn't it that a state employee would use work resources to troll the internet and leave comments like those?

Shocking too, how little reading comprehension such a state employee, especially in a department of education, is able to muster.

Perhaps the Indiana Dept. of Ed. would like to know that one of its employees is misusing public funds and equipment trolling the Internets from work.

Just a friendly suggestion.

Now, here's an oddity. Feminists, the same group that think that it's perfectly normal to use public funds to finance abortions, all of a sudden get really righteous if somebody uses a Department of Education computer to check their email and do some surfing.

Wonder if, given that it was a Department of Education terminal, it might be connected with, oh, a LIBRARY or something?

It is not without reason that folks like you are called femtards.

Anonymouse seems quite obsessive about this particular blogpost about Sarah Palin. It must be the picture that keeps drawing her or him back.

So Anonymouse posits a student walking by a computer terminal just happened to find it expedient to vent their spleen about anyone mocking their precious Sa-wah. I wonder how she or he feels about fellow citizens who are calling for the assassination of their president.

IIRC, Bush and Cheney's opponent were outspoken with their criticism, but never descended to that level.

Rightwing religious zealot 'Murricans are so righteous about their own rights to free speech, but get awfully touchy when their contradictions are pointed out.
