It's beginning to look a lot like your late December religious festival of pagan∕judeo∕christian origins, especially if your festivities includes Village People-like prancers and flouncers performing a divinely exuberant choreography inspired by Riverdance and A Chorus Line.
In Vancouver, in another lifetime, I watched an all male troupe do Swan Lake. Audience started off laughing, then the laughter faded, and we sat watching truly talented dancers doing an excellent rendition.
Until it came to the Dance of The Terminal Fowl and it got just a tad...campy...those last few dying shudders were hilarious!
