Good riddance.

Vern White is leaving the Ottawa Police force in February.

It's one of those good news, bad news situation.

Many are glad to see him go; he's been named by Stevie Spiteful to the Senate to ensure the Hard-On Crime Bill C-10 makes it through.

It appears that some of some of PMSHithead's patronage Con appointees may not support C-10.

Chief White will do Harper's bidding; under his watch he allowed bully rogue cops to do pretty much as they wanted.

I guess not only are Conservatives "excited" by abusing law to hurt people legally, but they're "excited" by any authority abusing people (not themselves of course) and getting away with it. Hard-On Crime indeed.

Why would complacency for brutality committed by government agents be something Conservatives support and desire in their Senators? Did any of them ever really believe in the principles of Refooooooorm?

Harper has possibly appointed more Senators than Trudeau, Mulroney, Chretien and Martin combined. That's quite the hypocritical feat for someone who claimed to want an elected Senate or none at all because of cronyism.
