His 'Just Watch Me' Moment?

This is the stuff that really really gets up Canadians' collective nose.

So up there on his annual northern photo op, King Stevie the Peevie surprises everyone, including his security detail, by hopping on a 4-wheel drive buggy and haring off at high speed onto the runway.
The rogue PM eventually returned to the aircraft where he was surrounded by reporters and photographers, one of whom wondered whether he had a licence to operate the vehicle — especially on restricted space such as an air strip?

“I think I make the rules,” the PM quipped.

Not for much longer, as more and more Canadians slowly wake to his mindless, asinine arrogance.

Post far and wide.

And go to the link to see the fat arse on the buggy. And read the comments.

ADDED: More hilarious comments here. We Canucks are funny.

LOL, that reminds me of Dubya's "A dictatorship would be great as long as I'm the dictator" moment.

The extra helmet's kinda redundant, isn't it?

How many laws did Stevie "tough-on-on-crime" break

Stevie's Awfully Big Moment has all the gravitas of a 3 year old running impulsively into the street while cars are stopped at the traffic light.

I liked this comment: "Kinda girly to ride an ATV doesn't Laureen have a Harley?"

Here's Brian's link made clickable. Operating a motor vehicle at an airport. Stevie should be in deep doo-doo.

"Stevie should be in deep doo-doo"

He should have been tasered
But we all know it will just be a stunt and no doo-doo.

ATV's are not supposed to be used on pavement, only gravel or dirt. They tip easy, partly I think because of a solid rear axle and short wheelbase - or something like that. We drive ATV's here, and all ATV's have a sticker that says "not to be used on pavement".

That silly stunt by Harpoon on the ATV reminds me of Doris Day's silly stunt wearing a wetsuit on that jetski some years ago.

Cons can't help but mimic the antics of their patron saint (Life of) Brian Mulroney.

They get their once-in-a-generation chance to govern and they just can't help it --- they are programmed to implode.

In Steve's case I truly believe that his brain is collapsing because his hair is just too tight.

Breaking the regulations at a Canadian airport? Next time he does that, someone give him a stapler and then call the RCMP ...

He's grooming and changing himself to get ready for the next election which will be sooner than
most people think.

The dancing, affable, ATV riding guy will disappear on the first day of the fall session.
Oh well, he can always fall back on the sweater vest.

Some of the defending commentaries point out the airport was closed down/locked down for him, ergo he wasn't really interfering with air traffic, ergo he was not illegal in any manner.

So, a northern airport in an area that depends on air flights for access of cargo and people far more than southern airports, was closed down to traffic for how long for his photo-op and personal jaunt on the tarmac?

I think that would annoy me more, if I was a resident of the area.

You know, Stevie sweatervest reminds me of that scene in "Dumb and Dumber" when Jim Carey is racing into the night on that little scooter in the winter night, cackling in a manic manner just after he spiked Jeff Daniels' coffee with turbo-lax.
