I was lounging in bed the other morning with the radio on, drifting in and out. It was -- though I didn't know it at the time -- the morning that it would be revealed that the unctuous and patronizing Andy Barrie would announce his retirement from Metro Morning. In my dozy state, my first coherent thought of the day was: 'That's the third time Andy Fucking Barrie told me to do something.'
So. Great news today. Andy Fucking Barrie -- yeah, yeah, I know he has Parkinson's -- is being replaced by the smooth and gracious Matt Galloway.
Yay!
