Quebec Health Minister Yves Bolduc said Tuesday he will remove abortion clinics from a controversial bill that sets strict standards for private surgical clinics.
My, that was fast. On August 7, deBeauxOs blogged about the new standards applying to abortion clinics.
The very next day, Bolduc seemed to be climbing down.
And today? Fffffft! All gone! Never happened. Nothing to see here. Move along now.
How stoopid do those fetus fetishist thanks to gord and celebrations look now?
Fetus fetishists -- in all kindsa denial. Including basic political sense.

It's got to mean something when even the Health and Social issues critic for l'ADQ (a socon political party in Québec) comments on Bolduc's latest idiocy, this one, and suggests that the minister is about to be officially declared a natural disaster.
Well, SUZY ALL-CAPS said it herself -- there is no pro-li(f)e movement in Quebec.
The reason? Très simple. Many, many Quebec women remember their own and/or their mothers' lives under the thumb of the Catlick church. And they are not going back. Not.
Quebecers used to have the highest birth rate in the western world. Imagine.
Well, that was a surprise ;)
But it's true: if political survival is an instinct they possess, a politician won't touch the anti-choice movement with a 10-foot pole.
Antonia, I don't need to imagine. I have plenty of relatives from those formerly huuuuuge French-Canadian families. The memories of the Catholic Church and it's role in Quebec society is still pretty fresh in my own mind.
