Doin' the Twitter Block!

It happened to JJ. It has happened to fern hill.

And now, I'm proud to report that many right-wing, religious zealots that people Twitter have also made me the target of their hissy-fit blocking.

It happens of course when prochoice activists ask too many inCONvenient questions and point out CONtemptuous fallacies in the tweets of abortion-criminalizing fetushists.

So, I've been blocked by cpc MP Stephen Woodworth.

In his *parting* tweet, Woodworth even had the chutzpah to throw back at me the words of the brilliant Molly Ivins
that I quote on my Twitter profile page.
There are two kinds of humor. One kind that makes us chuckle about our foibles and our shared humanity. The other kind holds people up to public contempt and ridicule -- that's what I do. Satire is traditionally the weapon of the powerless against the powerful. I only aim at the powerful.
I responded to his tweet by pointing out he had no idea who Molly Ivins was. He also appears aggrieved and to consider himself victimized by prochoice activists who can think faster and better on Twitter than he does.

Huh!? What did you do, dBeaux? I see your tweets, I haven't seen anything bad enough to get blocked.

The problem with these idiots is that they want to propagandize, not debate. They really can't deal with it when the discussion doesn't go their way. Uncomfortable question? Ignore, then block.

You know, I rarely read SUZANNE's lame tweets until recently -- it was worse than her blog, the same 1-liners over & over. Then I started asking her where she ever saw any pro-choicer say that a human fetus was another species, and WHAM. Blocked!

What a bunch of gutless wonders.

Does Steve seriously think people 400 years ago did not know fetuses were alive? They would feel a fetus moving, it would seem pretty obviously alive. Steve's making stuff up.
Yet they also understood that legal life and physical life are different, and fetuses aren't people.

Welcome to the club! If this guy wants a debate on the 'humanity' of a fetus, but can't hack it on TWITTER he's going to get eaten alive (again) in the HoC.

Heh. Having said that, I blocked Numbnuts, the jerk with the blog named after Justice Wilson. (The blog that I'm the only commenter on.)

Not for the same reason as SUZANNE, which is to stifle the other side of a discussion, but because he wasn't contributing anything to my Twitterfeed except LOLs and ROTFLs and trollish BS. I thought he might be interesting but I was wrong.

Yeah, I blocked his juvenile drivel too. Now he's chortling about hypocrisy.

I'm ignoring him on Twitter and it's driving him nuts. I think he really is an eight-year-old boy. At least, intellectually and emotionally.

The only explanation that I can see is that I made Woodworth look bad when I'd ask him inCONvenient questions that he wouldn't answer.

And I kept pointing out that his claims were based on catholic religious beliefs that he was forcing on people who didn't adhere to them.

"Hypocrisy": right, it's really "hypocritical" to block someone who's cluttering up your feed with uninteresting garbage. I don't block people because they say something I disagree with: I block them when it becomes obvious that they're just trolls with nothing interesting to say. I never blocked SUZANNE, or any other fetus fetishist who wandered on.

Poor brain-damaged little guy. A blog nobody comments on, a twitterfeed nobody responds to, and a cause that will be dead & buried in about 3 weeks.
