They are maroons. Dig this from the Ottawa Citizen:
In Canada, he explained, there are many more legal obstacles to selling your kidneys than there are to killing your unborn child. So, he said, "The bottom line is that people like myself are not going to stop until, at the very least, unborn children have more value than a Canadian kidney."
It's a brilliant line. We wish we'd thought of it ourselves.
h/t to Mike in the comments here.

JJ's Rule of Analogies -- If you have to explain it, it wasn't worth using in the first place.
Nice attempt at spin, though. Worth at least 2 Dobson biscuits.
Reproductive choice (whether it be abortion, contraception, abstinence or childbirth) IS a right. In particular abortion, which falls under the right to security of person. That much the SCC did rule with R. v. Morgentaler.
These people either don't know the facts or they're not sticking to them.
As for what most people really think about our abortion status, if ever there was an opportunity for Canadians to voice their opposition, it was last July. How's that massive uprising of outrage against the Morgentaler Order of Canada working out anyway?
Oops, sorry about the 2 comments. I forgot I already posted. I guess I'm apoplectic or something.
